I know a few matte painters who worked at Illusion Arts. They always had good things to say about the place.

Louis, Thanks so much for the link. It's amazing to me how many amazing matte painters are coming out of the woodwork saying "I worked at Illusion Arts and loved it".
Many up and coming matte painters, myself included, were really eager to work at IA and saw it as a great place for matte painters and vfx artists interested in environments to work.
Honestly I can't say enough about IA and I really hope Bill and Syd the best.
